Hi all!

I would like to have some artificial sunlight in my basement studio!

There are 2 blocks of 4 windows. Each block of 4 windows has available space behind of about 60cm deep,  60cm height (about the same height as the windows) and 3 meters width (the same length as the 4 windows) where I could place the satellite dishes and leds.

Question1: Now I'm wondering if it's better to:

-use 8 small satellite dishes with a led for each window?

-use 1 slightly bigger satellite dish (maybe more oval shaped) for each block of 2 windows (so 4 dishes in total)?

Question 2 (related to question 1): Would it be better to have 8 smaller leds or 4 more powerful leds? In the DIY Perks video he uses 1 500w led for a very small window..maybe it needs to be that powerful to have a convincing sunny feel?

Question 3: I would like to be able to also change the mood in the studio and go from convincing sunlight to other colors  (more orange, maybe even other colors for a more trippy feel). So could I use RGB COB leds for this? Am I right that these can produce any color? And are they as good as one or bi-color cob leds to make the best artificial sunlight? I want the best light quality possible!

Question 4: If all the leds are next to each other in a window block, would it be possible to mount them on a big passive cooling block (so I wouldn't need any fans)? Maybe I could make a 3 meter long aluminium cooling bar where all leds are mounted on?

Question 5: I want to be able to turn on/off each led independently. So is it better to make 1 power supply for all leds or better to have separate power supplies?

I have attached a picture of 1 window block of 4 windows (there are 2 of those in my studio)

Thanks for the help!
