I've recently gotten a mechanical keyboard, and I decided to change the switches for more clicky ones. Then I found mini sockets for hotswapping, and one thing led to another and now that is my first "project"

One thing I'd suggest is checking the alignment of every socket before soldering them all in. Even a tiny bit of misalignment can make switch installation a pain later. I also like to test each key with a keyboard tester before putting the case back together - it saves a lot of time if something needs rework.
