Looking at making a DIY version of the induction cooktop with inbuilt exhaust using two separate induction cook tops and drilling straight into a bench top for the extraction fan.  Maybe 3D printing a cover that can raise up with a linear actuator?

Something like this https://www.winnings.com.au/p/miele-2-zone-induction-cooktop-cs7612fl
SMEG and Miele make very expensive versions of these systems but you can't have an oven underneath them as the extraction will over heat. If the extraction fan was placed in a seperate location maybe it would work?

Any ideas?

Not really something for amateurs to play with, so we can't be much help really. The voltages involved are potentially lethal.

Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
