If any of you are into sim racing, you know the question of what screens to use its difficult.. (single, single TV, ultrawide: 21:9 or 32:9, or triple 16:9.)

What if you could make a DIY triple screen setup from recycled parts that has everything you need for a fraction of the cost:
- High refresh rate
- Low response time
- Curved
- Peripheral FOV
- (resolution isn't the highest priority, but pixel density needs to be high enough to not be distracting)

And if you lined up the panels right next to each other, it would make it completely bezel free.

I am - love me a bit of Forza Horizons - although I'm not running my setup right now. I've recently bought some low-cost panels to hook up as extra monitors (Aldi UK might still have a few).

But here's a though. How many "open cockpit" cars are there? Short of F1 (and similar) open wheel designs every car has door pillars, etc so the bezels can be a feature not a "bug" as such. 😉 You'll see this from flight-simming (I do that too, again when time allows). Most aeroplane cockpits have windows and frames, so if it's arranged correctly there's no need to worry about the bezels - just make them a feature of your virtual cockpit.

While I haven't tried any there are head tracking systems that might also play a part but I've used VR for that, at least I did until Meta started to take users for granted. Now I have to save up for something more private (and without advertising tracking).

Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
