I bought four flush mount LED light fixtures. Two are flickering after less than two years. I have read that the drivers are failing, probably due to overheating. Since they are flush mounted to the ceiling, the plaster board ceiling is more of a thermal insulator than a thermal conductor, which I believe adds to the overheating.
I have to replace the units. I was thinking of adding an aluminum heat sink between the unit and the ceiling to help dissipate the heat effecting the driver.
Your thoughts?
