I am trying to hook my Bose Wave Radio to my TV. I have it all worked out except for one thing. I would like the Bose Wave Radio to go on when I turn the TV on or off so I don't have to keep using the Bose remote. I know they used to make simple devices that would turn on one device when the other one was powered on but I can't seem to find them. Everything thing now is WIFI or Bluetooth connected and I don't want or need that. Does anybody know of a device like this or how to build one? Thanks.

I would recommend a Wifi to IR remote though, you can turn on both with your phone. Or you would have to hard power off your Bose every time which isn't really good for it. I could think of using a microcontroller with an IR transmitter to automate it, but that isn't delicate, is not smart(might turn off when it should turn on had it been on) and it's really overkill

I would look into Master/Slave power strips, sounds like as long as you can set the soundbar's state to on with AC recovery it would do what you are asking.
