DIY QlockTwo in Dutch, Made using nodemcu and white leds. Front is laser cut acrylic by local store with vectorfile.

ItΒ  has built in light sensor to dim the leds when its night. Furthermore, it gets time from the internet via wifi.

It also has a party feature where it displays a beer (using the amber led color) every friday at 5pm πŸ™‚

Thanks! The whole thing is controlled using a NodeMCU ESP8266 along with a light sensor. The programming was done on arduino IDE

Really cool. I'm curious - how did you get the diffused lighting behind each of the words? Diffused acrylic with some LEDs directly behind?

@diyperks acrylic sheets sanded with 600 sandpaper, behind each letter is one led in a matrix separated with little wood slats
