It's that time of year and I'm buried (not literally of course!)
So is anyone interested in some self-acting pranks for next year?
They're simple (well, the big one isn't) but most are little things that will make the kids jump out of their skin because they are fully automated and act when someone gets within a metre or so (a yard in US measurements).
So you hide them in places like a litter bin and they can do anything from scream *LOUDLY* or rattle the lid, etc. and since they are simple Arduino projects, they can be powered with nothing more than a small LiOn battery and change the "message" at random.
So (for instance) someone walks past your bin, the lid rattles and a voice says "Lemme out, lemme out". Or they can flip (empty) drinks cans and more.
If there's any interest, I'll get some done early next year. The prize one is a surprise though. 🙂 And it's enough to make the strongest stomach do a backflip! (Mwahahahaah!)
Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
