Want to use Thinkpad w530 with monitor, but mini dp port not working, monitor dont have vga, i'm struck here, pc is powerful engough for my work, i just want to connect with my 1440p monitor

When you say the mini DPI port doesn't work, can you be more specific?
Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
