I want to make the diy hake t12 soldering iron to fit in my desk and want to add usb c to attach it instead of the gx 5 pin connecter anyone know what aliexpress parts I need already have the 5 wire sleeve

There are some USB-C adaptors (breakouts) like the one Matt used for the original USB-C microphone. This is probably the easiest solution.
Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
