How to repurpose an oneplus 6t mother board?

Hello Everyone, 

I have got an one plus 6T phone with shattered screen and a working motherboard. I have been thinking of repurposing the mother board and don't want to give it away for recycling as the mother board is absolutely working fine and the configuration is quite impressive. 

I was thinking of making a tablet out of it with a 9.7 inch display, primarily use it as an eBook reader. But I couldn't figure out how to connect a 9.7 inch display to an one plus 6t mother board. I watched the triple scree laptop video which gave me some hope. 

I couldn't get a solid information on connecting the broken phone and the display panel - connected to a controller board vias USB/HDMI because I am not sure its supported by one plus 6T.
