Hello,

While I am a fan of the DIYs on speakers, most of the components are hard to source in India.

The most doable one for me right now is the DIY glass speaker as it is a fun build and I have access to a small 3D printer.

The youtube video DIY glass speaker! How to build your own. - YouTube has the links but most of them don't work now as they are old.

May I please know how to get the 3D printer files for the base unit? This will help me greatly to get started. The link provided at https://sellfy.com/p/QXZK/ does not work. I will be happy to pay for these files.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Well I never! I forgot all about that.

Matt will have the 3D printer files I'm sure, other parts come and go over time (even on Amazon) so these projects usually need a refresh from time to time. That's how I got myself involved with the amazing USB C microphone project which is now entering the final straight.

The newer version is mostly pre-made in China with almost all of the parts pre-soldered and since it's Open Source hardware, anyone can (or will be able to adapt it) as parts change over time.

JLC will make up the boards and assemble just two samples for you at a very low cost and you can split that with a friend (or four other friends if you want).

Best of all, you can pick and choose which mic "head" amplifier you want  from a selection depending on what use you have for them. I've just completed the "B" revision today and I'll give it 24 hours for my brain to cool down before I order a bunch for testing. Just in case!

Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
