do you still use these "Artificial Daylights" 3 years later?

Also, I wonder if it might not be better to only use the diffusor as polarized light may not necessarily the best solution for a "virtual skylight".

I attempted one conversion so far, got a large diffusor out of one TV but the LCD and polarizing sheets were bonded and I could not find a way to separate them. Also, it had CCTs and the rear-most sheet (reflector) was a paper-like, glossy, white sheet which was only lightly supported and would not have held the weight of LED strips in a ceiling-mounted orientation without a lot of extra work.  I'll try another old TV next.
