Yeah, it's just one isn't and the little fellas sit right next to each other on the keyboard.
And this, folks, is why you always check your BOM against the parts you think you ordered.
Because rather than getting the OPA1642 which I'd specced, I hit the "3" (simple typo) didn't think to check against the JLC's very helpful "check your BOM"
and ...
Well, I'll let you all figure out what I bought vs. what I thought I'd bought.
And yes, you're right, it doesn't work. 🙂
I tell everyone this because mistakes are a normal part of everyday life. Sometimes you buy the wrong can of beans and get, I dunno, spaghetti or you get crunch peanut butter when you wanted smooth, etc.
But when a simple typo can cost (don't ask, I'm ashamed) but enough to buy a palette full of peanut butter and probably one of Heinz beans too - it really pays to check.
If anyone wants me, I'll be kept back to write out 1000 lines: "I must check my BOM before I hit the Order Now button".
Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
