I am seriously interested in building the PS5 tablet edition and I'm curious about the project plans, I mean how does it work? I know that not all plans are available for free which is completely understandable, and I'm willing to pay the right amount to get a hold of the plans/instructions. How do I do it? Do I need to become a patreon?

Everything in Matt's videos is free (to us). The only things we pay for are commercial parts Matt and I have been developing a some new stuff and we're making everything open source hardware (OSHW) so although someone produce/sell use the electronic designs free of charge, they cant stop anyone just grabbing the files from GitHub and making their own. This is, to my mind, a fairer way of doing it.
Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!

I don't think (I could be wrong, won't be the first time) that Matt actually published any actual plans (unlike the mic, concrete speaker, desk etc.), more a set of guides on how to do it. It's quite a tricky build and you're probably better speaking to the folks who have already done it.
