LED's create voltage when exposed to light.
It's true. So why not use an LED TV as a image sensor for a giant lens?

This is not even theoretically impossible, I don't even know where to begin with. Get a better idea of how TVs show image before rethinking this. I would, however, like to build a huge light sensor
