Nowadays real surrounding audio(5.1, 7.1+) is becoming less popular and people seem to like sound bars and all sort of fake surrounding audio systems maybe because of cables and complexity.

I really like the experience of real surrounding audio but I want to get rid of extra cables.

Is there any diy solution to achieve that?

Thanks.

It's been done by several of the large companies (Sony I think was one) but the gotcha is you still end up with power spaghetti to each speaker because otherwise it means having a battery in each and then they need charging.

But it's definitely possible so watch this space and see if someone wants to take it on.

Take everything I say with a pinch of salt, I might be wrong and it's a very *expensive* way to learn!
