Hey!, I have got a few webcams from laptops, all of 12mp, but the matter's that it has Microphones built on them, So, is there any way to make use of Mics, if not on the primary USB connections, by any audio input cable, Since the audio captured is quite remarkable,
.1: Besides Data '+' & ' - ', and Power '+' & '-'
i.e., Besides 4 connections there are two more, (I guess, they are of mic?)
Mics are attached on the either sides, as shown.
I think it depends if it's shown via USB or whether it's an analogue connection. Both are possible, but I'd first try USB. Here's a vid on how to do it:
If that doesn't expose the mic, try and see if the additional connections you've identified are analogue connections for the mic by connecting them to a MIC input on some device (don't forget to add the webcam's ground connection too).
@diyperks Yes, So I was able to connect the cameras, but I couldn't understand anyway to include a mic also on USB, But I can, on an audio 3.5mm cable,
In theory yeah! Just connect the two remaining wires to the left and right channels of the 3.5mm jack, and include the ground connection. You'll need to make sure that the input you plug it in to supports 'plug in power' as the mics need a small current to operate.
