Okay hear me out um I have an iPad Pro 11" and it is quite small so I was thinking... Can't I make a really cute monitor for my iPad using iPad Pro parts? Like can't I purchase an 11" screen and chassi replacement both for iPad Pro, get a large battery, some control board of some kind and boom a display that it is not just portable but also really fits the design language 'cause it's literally an iPad Pro without the brains. And if this idea is possible, how to control the brightness in this new monitor (I'm okay losing true tone and touch support in this case)? Maybe using the volume buttons in the chassi? And using the power button to put the screen to sleep to preserve battery or to turn it off completely? Sounds easy to me but I'm new here (and also fascinated by all the possibilities for recycling), I lack the knowledge 🙁

Does the ipad support external USB-C displays? Probably the first thing to try.

Yes it does, but I wanted something to really be like a duo (kinda like the new Lenovo Yoga Book 9i), and to be aesthetically pleasing too (and I'm also dying to build something 🤩 )

@diyperks Are the plans for the "Next Level Camera" ever going to be released?  It has been 6 months since that video was first released.  I see so many people on your YouTube channel asking about them and like them, would love to have some further instructions on how to build such a thing.

I know you were looking to scale it down to an 8 x 10 version, did you have any success?  Still working on it?

Thanks 🙂
